The Gandharvas have been considered the companions of the gods. You must have heard about Gandharva Vivah, Gandharva Veda and Gandharva Sangeet. There was a single god named Gandharva, who used to reveal the secrets of heaven and other truths. They used to offer Soma Rasa to the deities. According to the Vishnu Purana, he was the son of Brahma and since he was born reciting Maa Vagdevi, he was named Gandharva. Actually, Gandharvas were born from Arishtha, the wife of sage Kashyap. In Atharvaveda itself, their number has been mentioned as 6333.

Meeting of Gandharva and Gandharva courtesans and their appeal and worship is held only and only once in a year in the moonlight of Sarda Purnima. There is no time limit for this. This meditation should be done.

“dhola ke gole raat mein chamakate hain

doston lo aur saath baitho

beej kaale aur daane saat

peela phal aur chaar haath

laal lakadee aur aag peela

aasan laal hai aur prasaad khilata hai

18 aaloo 18 beej

jab aanand jabt kiya jaata hai

saat kee parikrama karate hue chaaron or mantr dena

dego aavaaj va paas aa

do chaar karane tak muththee karen

jab tak aap va tose naayar nahin bolate

baat kee jab ve doosaree baar

jo kuchh maango, vah maang lo."
