Chitrini Yakshini Sadhna Mantra

The Chitrini Yakshini (sometimes spelled Chitrani) holds a unique place in Tantric literature. Unlike some Yakshinis who are purely associated with raw wealth or terrifying trials, Chitrini is traditionally revered as the embodiment of creativity, high aesthetic arts, glamour, and intellectual or artistic sophistication.

In ancient texts, she is described as possessing strong creative characteristics. A successful sadhak (practitioner) is said to be blessed not only with wealth and the fulfillment of worldly desires but also with a massive boost in creative industries—such as the arts, music, writing, marketing, or entertainment.

The Mool Mantra (Root Mantra)

In esoteric Tantra, there are minor variations depending on the lineage (Parampara), but the most widely recognized root invocation for Chitrini Yakshini is:

  • Traditional Sadhna Overview & Rules

Because Chitrini is a deity of art and beauty, her ritual requirements differ slightly from more aggressive or fierce Yakshinis:

  • The Intent: Traditional texts emphasize that the wealth or blessings obtained through Chitrini must strictly be used for good intentions. Using the boons for illegal, greedy, or malicious purposes is said to cause the practitioner to lose everything they gained.

  • The Setup: The sadhna is typically performed in a clean, isolated, and highly peaceful environment. The practitioner usually uses a Pranapratishthit Yantra (a consecrated energetic geometric chart) or a specific picture/idol of the deity.

  • Offerings: Being a goddess of beauty, the ritual usually involves offering fragrant items such as rose water, natural perfumes (Attar), white or red flowers, and sweets.

  • The Experience: Practitioners often report experiencing heightened sensory awareness during the nights of the ritual, such as smelling sudden, intense fragrances (sandalwood or jasmine) or hearing subtle rhythmic sounds.

⚠️ A Crucial Cautionary Note

Just like the Nati Yakshini ritual you mentioned previously, Chitrini Yakshini Sadhna is an advanced Tantric practice.

Guru Governance: It is highly discouraged to pick up this mantra from a text or website and attempt the ritual independently. In authentic Tantra, a Guru’s Diksha (initiation) and a detailed examination of the practitioner's Kundali (astrological chart) are required to ensure the practitioner's energy matches the deity.
